its so cool to have someone who calls you up once in a while just to check up on you, you know? nevermind the call charges, nevermind the duration, nevermind the topics. and it brings even greater joy especially you know that your jovial and perky self will always be appreciated by that person. no matter what you say, that person will listen to you attentively, may it be a lame joke or a lame statement like 'i only had mini tomatoes for dinner just now', conversation is just sponteneous and pure. its not necessary to have informative and give-and-take or ask-and-asnwer talk, its just plain and casual. no pretending.

its like youre in love for a moment there, as long as the conversation lasts, although it may only lasts for 10/15 minutes. oh feel the love!
