Roundabout No More.

For Penangites, the famous Gurney Drive roundabout is about to be taken down and be replaced with traffic lights. According to the authorities, it has reached its capacity and will be taken down to curb the weekend traffic jams. The decision would help to provide Penang drivers with more ease.

As you can see in the picture, the once beautified with flowers and colourful lights roundabout is now nothing but a round piece thing of grass, an IJM piramid and a couple of coconut trees.
