i think my biggest vice is junk food. *frowns*

i stayed home today nursing my flu and headache. i got sweaty and sticky from packing up my things into boxes.. though not many of them but im glad i sort out some of the stuffs that i have. just like how i needed to sort my life out. i'm in need of balance. in search for the perfect balance.

my break is just around the corner even though i have today and next monday off. i'd be glad to stay home and pack my things.. or sort my life out, rather.

so i wanted to take today's Insanity Streak featured in The Star today to post up an entry but I couldnt find it online. sigh..

and so, yeah I called in sick today.

i LOVE an ordinary day WITHOUT stress.

im gonna channel my negative vibes into positive vibes.. so here goes..

i love the sunny weather.

i love tying my curly hair up and wear dangly earrings.

i love listening to this album called The Complete Cocktail Nights [Collection: Suave Sounds For A Smooth Sip]

i love wearing tshirts.

i love wearing flip flops.

i love sushi!

i love chatting with old friends.

i love to cruise with the window down, sunshades on and killer music.

i love my lego earrings.

i love to go dancing.

i love to go shopping alone.

i love to webcam.

i love to think.

i love to get to know people.

i'd love to sleep. gonna take some meds and head on to bed before i go to aunty's place and if possible back for a quick cycle around the neighbourhood.

My Pop Weekend.

so last weekend was a blast!

though i was knackered and deprieved of sleep. but i had an enjoyable one.

was working half day on saturday with a bad mood caused by some inconsiderate colleague. i was so nice to you before this, so i really dont know why you have to behave like that. im disappointed in you. you really didnt have to do that. i stood up for you when everyone was picking on you. i covered your arse when you did smth wrong. i asked how you are doing when your eyes were red from sobs. now thinking back, it was so not worth it.

and since i've been craving for banana leaf since... a few weeks ago, i finally had it together with a good friend. so good food, soft and tender mutton, tasty squids, crispy papadom, great company, great conversation = bliss.

it was raining the whole day though so i went CD shopping and discovered a bossa nova singer called Olivia. stunning and sultry voice. just something that i was looking for.

heh on a side note, think im starting to mellow down in music taste since im experiencing so much work stress. really really old skool jazz is my cup of tea now.. haha.

then i adjourned to getting my nails did. trimming, shaping, lacquered and shiny. bought a box of starbucks mooncakes for my family as well as some more mooncakes for friends.

got home, showered. mom cooked dinner, yummers! home cooked food roxors! then chit chatted with mom for a while before friends called. time to change, bling blings, put styling thingamajigs on my newly curled hair, bob it up and paint the town red. =D something which i havent been doing since eons ago. dont recall the last i danced though. was prolly when booboo and feme si a sia were here?! *shocked*

we headed down to babylon, had some to drink and i totally fell in love with the place and oh! the waiter was super duper friendly with a great service. be sure to catch me there next time though.. heh. then midnight came and we headed next door and danced the night away! dancing to hip hop, slight jungle and trance.

im glad to say that i survived a 3 and 1/2 hours of 3 inch heels non stop dancing! *chuckles* thigh abit sakit now.. hehe thanks desmond and co. for letting us girls 'taab toi' :)

sunday was a relaxing one..

watched transformers on the player, cooked instant noodles with lotsa veggie for breakie. watched grey's anatomy on the telly while eating mooncakes. went to the bank, temple, pet shop to get dog food, bought lottery(haha!!!!), then had yummylicious tomyam buffet steamboat for dinner. definitely suits the chilly weather i'd say.

then came home, fed the dogs, showered and put on a nice mask, pampered myself with lotsa hyration to the skin before i fell asleep.

sigh!

time to sleep now. still have a LONG week to go before the next weekend is here!

The Call.

just finished talking to a college mate whom i havent seen and chatted since our convocation last august.

... which cheered me up quite a bit.

its always nice and soothing to catch up with old friends eh?

we talked abt our current job, who's attached to which company and how everybody else is doing in the corporate world. i take comfort in that. at least im not the only one suffering in their current jobs. heh.

i suggested that we should meet up.. then perhaps a trip together? a short trip to somewhere nearby. a getaway for all of us corporate ladder climbers. a stress free trip to get away from the busy and routined daily life that we're leading. perhaps perhentian, redang, tioman, pangkor..

then i suggested somewhere far.. to visit a few friends in shanghai since we misses them so much :( then something i'd say brilliant but requires ALOT of effort in turning it into a reality. i suggested that we should go to shanghai and then to beijing for beijing olympics 2008. that would be so awesome *dreams*

but everything is still at the planning stage. since everybody has a job to up keep..

but one can only hope for the best eh :)

we'll see how it goes..

now, i feel glad and comforting that i have sunny friends who once shared my golden college days. the trips to KL, the getaway, the makan trip, the shopping trips, the times we managed to go through the jungle college days.

Hello all.

im alive. even though i was working when the mild quake took place. i was actually working my arse off at my 20 something level office building.

i was calculating the over afew thousand dollars VIP transaction, tapping away on my calculator, clicking on the mouse, focusing and cracking my head when the shake took place. my next door colleague asked me.. eh, you felt the building goyang or not? then that caught my attention... heh i had to, i stopped, feel the ground and yeah it was shaking! mildly that is. then alerted other colleagues as well. some felt it, some didnt. for a moment there i was feeling sea sick like im in a boat or smth. owww.

then came the second one. this time, it got stronger and even the water in my transparent water bottle shook. now you cant deny that! and true enough, more people felt it. we almost... dammit ALMOST had to press alt + ctrl + del and run towards the door. haha maybe not run but more like taking our time for a bit, chit chatter while we're at it before we hit the ground floor.

but like i said, we did not leave our office building. we just continue with our work. how sad.

and by the time i finish up my work and get out of the office, it was already 1030pm.

sigh.

its not a smooth sailing day for me. kinda rough and it has always been like that ever since i join my company. but i guess the only thing i could rejoice about is that i get to get off work half an hour earlier (my balls!) and that my heart is beating faster and yeah i am alive.

so bloody hell, i rejoice... in taking a smoke.

tomorrow is just another day. read the papers and pray for safety for all!

ps - got email at work about the places or countries that has been hit. trust me, there are ALOT of countries been hit, so have a moment and pray. may god bless them all.
