Falling Again.

I lay, looking at my hands
I search in these lines
I've not the answer
I'm crying and I don't know
Watching the sky
I search an answer
I'm free, free to be
I'm not another liar
I just want to be myself... myself
And now the beat inside me
is a sort of a cold breeze and I've
never any feeling inside
ruining me...
bring my body
carry it into another world
I know I live... but like a stone I'm falling down
I pray, looking into the sky
I can feel this rain
right now it's falling on me
fly, I just want to fly
life is all mine
some days I cry alone,
but I know I'm not the only one
I'm here, another day is gone
I don't want to die...
Please be there when I'll arrive, don't cry... please

I tried looking through all the pictures that I have on all my drivers, I've looked through each and everyone of them, I've looked high and low, inside out but I couldn't find the one that goes perfectly well with this particular post. I feel lost, confused and disappointed. I carefully scanned through the folders and all the files but I still couldn't find the one that describes best.

Eyes are feeling heavy, my soul twitches all the time, energetic by thoughts, lost out of the progression, useless self with no cure to be found, there's no skills or whatsoever, the urge to pick up the cancer sticks, drown myself in warm tears, or drown myself with all the cold beers, there's nothing that could describe, there's nothing that could express, nothing that could depict, nothing that could explain, nothing to potray, nothing that could illustrate, nothing that could tell, restricted by nothingness, completes the whole of this post.

I am falling.

The end.

I'm Still Alive Exhibition.

Hey peeps! If you haven't heard about this lomography exhibition, you guys should go and take a look! More details [here]. Do click on it ya! Heh, so many links but here are the important ones. The event's official website and the nice people at Alliance Francaise for providing the location.

During
FĂȘte de la Musique, as I was watching the bands performing on stage, I was being approached by some people and asked me to fill in a short survey form. Erm, if I may say survey, it's actually a small piece of paper asking you to answer some simple questions. After that, they're going to snap a photo of you and tell you to wait for the big day. Heck, the bloody suspense la!

So here it is, the showcase of all that complied together can be found in this exhibition. Including the paper that we filled in and pictures of me and my friends. :)

The exhibition is suppose to last for eight days and I was lucky to be there for the opening. Seeing that DDA and Paku were going to give the audience a brief showcase, which they did on 8pm that night. There's no makeshift stage, just open space for musicians to set up and play, audience just stand around or could choose to sit on the floor. There's also a TV that showcases a few indie short clips for viewing. Pick up the remote control and push that "play" button. :)

Paku went first and their set wasn't that energetic like the last time I saw them in Church Street cafe. But nonetheless, this time around, its something new that they project, a different kind of feeling towards their music. The kind that feels more acoustically relaxed. Very easy listening.

Anyhoo I was busy checking out all on display when they were playing so I didnt manage to snap any pictures of them. I felt a lil out of place as there were seriously alot of people with straps around their neck hanging their professional cameras and what nots. I can assure that the peeps there are really into art and artistic. =D

So then DDA tuned up for the show and played a few songs. I think the audience liked their set as they played a few monotonous yet catchy tunes, if you know what I mean. Comfortable beats and simple lyrics. Pedram introduced their new band members to everyone and asked the audience to sing along. Fun. They somehow reminds me of some shoegazing songs that I came across. A friend said the 2nd song sounded like Weezer.

All in all, I think the peeps of Urban Creatures used alot of time and effort in putting this exhibition up. Unique work of arts and interesting way of putting them together. They definitely did a great job on that! Kudos! I bet they would be glad that [this] came out in the papers. :)

Movie Buggers.

Dont you just hate those people who cant keep quiet during a movie in the cinema? I mean cant you save the thing that you want to say until the end of the movie or smth? Even if it is REALLY bloody important, you could have just whisper softly right?

Over the weekend, I went to watch Miami Vice on Saturday and The Banquet on Sunday and both movies I have talking-oh-so-loudly-ppl or laugh-at-nothing-sampat-ppl or follow-the-lines-parrots or ppl-with-foul-smelling-mouth-talking-blablabla sitting next to me.

It's damn irritating ok! They're being inconsiderate and idiotic. Can't they just keep their mouth shut during the movie?
Eh I was just trying to admire Daniel Wu, Zhang Ziyi, Jamie Foxx and Colin Farrel, can? Hur hurhur.

Anyway, is it just me or is it some Penangites are sampat people? You peeps have anything to share about this annoying behaviour in the cinema?

Mid Autumn Festival.

Hey there, mooncake festival came early for me. I bought these mooncakes with its snow-skin made out of green tea. There were quite alot of fillings to choose from. But I chose the White Lotus Paste and the Pandan Paste.
I had these mooncakes 3weeks back I think when I was in KL for my convocation. The packaging is very well illustrated yet coloursful and that was the thing that got me attracted. It must have been those marketing gimmicks I tell you. Heh, here are some pics.

They're from Purple Cane Restaurant in KL. Personally I find the taste of green tea from the snow-skin a bit too strong, you cant really taste the Pandan and the White Lotus Paste. Oh well, but it's not bad lah. :)

Everywhere you turn, to the wet market, shopping complex, mini market as well as night market, businessmen were selling lanterns and I kid you not, every year there's just more and more varieties for them kids to choose from. There are even lantern making competitions and banners all up for the local neighbourhood mini procession. Coolness. Seems like everyone is getting themselves ready for this occasion.

In fact, I've just bought some old skool paper lanterns for myself, so have you geared up for the mooncake festival already? :)

Chump Chop.

is it me or do i not have the capability of handling a decent conversation?

i cant seem to get (needed) information from someone. i mean come on, why would you wanna login to msn or what nots when you do not want to be disturbed or talk right?

bloody hell if you do not want any distractions, its either you put away/busy or dont bloody login at all. park your bloody nickname there for what? decorations?!

i mean fuck, if you do not want to hold a conversation, dont bloody reply in the first place and say something like hey sorry im busy or something. and when i do reply, i would expect a darn reply from you. dont give me that yes/no answer or those one two words that means nothing. sometimes there's also the kind that would reply you after AGES. anyway i'm just trying to help. sheesh, i'm your friend for god's sake, thats why im trying to help.

bah, why do i bother?

oi, i think i have the charisma to get people talking and all but when it comes to communication through technology, man either i suck or they suck.

nowadays online chatting to me is like a bore. i see all the nicknames parked there, none of them are those that i talk to. i'll have to admit, i can be like that too. even you, who might know me in real life might say that im a fucktard for not replying or just to park my nick too. but i blame it on the previous conversations that i had. i tried but i'd settled for being complacent with what i get in return or none at all.

i totally understand that one wants to be alone at times. just to let alone for the sake of being alone. you know, for reflections, for calmity. not to say that humans are callous but you know times like these are needed for oneself to be sane and gather ourselves and get back on track.

argh, fuck. why do i bother again?

Hello Stranger.

A big holler to you from Nilai International College!

You've been checking out some of my entries for quite a few days now, some dated as way back as 2003. I noticed a pattern where you read my blog yesterday at 9ish in the morning and the same time today too. Somehow I dont know how you got here but it must have been all the linkages in blogsphere that brought you here. Other than that, you went through my archives like a pro. That I have to give you credit, somehow you went through it without clicking on anything. Strange.

From that, I bet you've find out quite some things about me eh? Oh and probably bookmarked me as well. How about owning up and tell me who you are eh? I have a feeling that I know you. :) Do leave a msg here with your email address, either that if you really know me, drop me a line dammit!

Fluffy.

aka Phong Phong

aiya. you will always be remembered as the silly one that dips your two front paws or sometimes your whole body when you were smaller into the pail of water when you drinks from it. the one with fluffier fur texture. the one that would fall into the drain and then fell asleep while trying to out of it. with your head and upper body out of the drain and the bottom half still in the drain. the one that goes around biting people and when i least expected you, you would run up next to me and then while leaning against me and sit next to me for a while to catch a breath. once i patted you, you would start jumping at me and bite me again.

you bad bad boy. now must kuai kuai already ok. i worried about you yesterday, scared you wouldnt adapt to the new place, wondering whether they feed you properly or not and also wondering whether they would spare some time to play with you and shower you with attention and love. also wondering whether if you cried yesterday. :/

you be good now.
the journey to the new place was exceptionally long and seems quieter than ordinary. it was difficult. you will be dearly missed. i sayang you.

farewell pup!
